Government <br />+ Bonds or securities. <br />Vero Beach, Florida <br />May 179 1949 <br />To The Honorable Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County <br />Vero Beach, Florida <br />Gentlemen: <br />I, vera Cole$ of Orion, Ill., the duly qualified and acting executrix under the Last Will <br />and Testament of Henry G. Quayle, deceased, being the owner of Tax Sales Certificates Nos. <br />936 and 937, sale of 1928 for 1927 taxes. Certificates Nos. 5835 and 58369 sale of 1933 <br />for 1932 taxes, and Certificate No..540' sale of 1934 for 1933 taxes, covering <br />Lots 6 and 7 of Block 13 of Edgewood Addition to Vero, according to Plat filed <br />in Plat Book 2, page 28, St. Lucie County, Florida, records, said land now lying and being <br />in Indian River County, Florida, <br />hereby make application to your Honorable Body to issue a duplicate tax sale certificate for <br />each original described herein for the following reasons: <br />1. That said tax sale certificates were purchased under the Murphy Act by Henry <br />G. Quayle, now deceased, for which he paid the sum of $31.98. <br />2. That said tar sale certificates, or any interest therein have not been hypothe- <br />cated, sold, assigned, transferred, or delivered, and he or I have received no consideration <br />therefor. <br />3. That --said tax'sale certificates have been lost or destroyed and.that I have <br />made diligent search and am unable to locate said certificates. <br />4. That if duplicate certificates are issued in lieu thereof, and the original <br />should at any time be located,..the.esame will be surrendered to the Clerk of the Circuit Court <br />of Indian River County for cancellation. <br />5• That I, Vera Cole, individually and as executrix under the Last Will and <br />Testament of Henry G. Quaylet deceased, as a further consideration, acknowledge myself held <br />and firmly bound unto Douglas Baker, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Indian River CouNt" <br />Florida and his successors in office is the sum of $63.96, being double the amount of the <br />face value of said tax certificates for payment whereof well and truly to be made, I bind <br />myself, heirs, executors and administrators firmly by these presents, should .,;said certificate <br />be presented by any person whomsoever assigned, or otherwise, for payment or, application for <br />tax deed thereon. <br />6. I solemnly swear or affirm that the statements contained herein in support of <br />my application for issuance of duplicate tax sales certificates are true and correct.
