Four <br />proposals were received. <br />The County's evaluation committee met on January 9, 2015 and interviewed all four <br />proposers. The evaluation committee pre -qualified two agent/brokers to solicit insurance <br />proposals: Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc. ("AJG") and Brown and <br />Brown Insurance of Florida, Inc. ("B&B"). <br />Insurance company markets were then assigned, based upon their requests, to the pre- <br />qualified brokers. Most insurance companies will not provide proposals to two different <br />agent/brokers. The goal of the insurance company market assignment process was to <br />allow both pre -qualified brokers access to sufficient insurance company markets to <br />provide a competitive proposal. <br />52 <br />
