Gray, Jr. <br />Coastal Engineer <br />CONSENT AGEND <br />Release of Retainage for Ecological Associates, Inc. <br />Work Order No. 5 — Sector 3 Dune Repair Project — Late Season Sea <br />Turtle Monitoring Services <br />DATE: April 7, 2015 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On March 19, 2013 the Board approved a contract with Ecological Associates, Inc. (EAI) for <br />professional coastal environmental services in Indian River County for a two-year term, 2013- <br />2015. On March 17, 2015, the Board renewed the contract until March 19, 2017. EAI is the <br />selected County consultant for professional biological monitoring services related to the Sector <br />3 Beach Restoration Project. <br />Work Order No. 5 to this contract provided for services related to Late Season Sea Turtle <br />Monitoring for the Sector 3 Dune Repair Project. The Board approved Work Order No. 5 amount <br />was not -to -exceed $21,376. <br />All tasks under Work Order No. 5 and are now complete. Please note, the total amount of Work <br />Order No. 5 was $19,352.50, a reduction of $2,023.50, as tasks 2 and 3 did not require <br />expenditure of all approved funds. <br />The subject of this agenda item is the release of the withheld retainage in the amount of <br />$1,935.25 <br />FUNDING <br />Local funding of Beach Restoration includes a portion of Local Option Tourist Tax Revenue as <br />well as allocation of the One Cent Sales Tax.
