c <br />PROCLAMATION <br />DESIGNATING APRIL 25, 2015 AS <br />SEVENTH ANNUAL INDIAN RIVER COUNTY DAY OF SERVICE <br />WHEREAS, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a long history of <br />providing humanitarian services in response to emergencies and natural disasters; and <br />WHEREAS, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been challenged by <br />its leaders to extend the same service to those in need during times other than <br />emergencies, hence the Day of Service; and <br />WHEREAS, on the Day of Service, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of <br />Latter-day Saints will volunteer in their communities and link arms with other churches, <br />community organizations, local businesses, and residents of all beliefs in an effort to <br />assist and serve the needy and less fortunate; and <br />WHEREAS, the Day of Service provides a much needed service to those most in <br />need in the community, and it is an opportunity for different faiths, beliefs, civic <br />organizations, and businesses in Indian River County to share and work in service <br />together. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the last Saturday of April <br />is dedicated as "A DAY OF SERVICE" in Indian River County and urge citizens of all <br />beliefs and churches of all faiths to be aware of this Indian River County Day of Service <br />as the day in which our community of different faiths and beliefs link arms to beautify <br />our community and lend a helping hand to those in need. <br />Adopted this 21st day of April, 2015 BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Wesley S.
