Indian River County <br />Sheriff's Office is applying for the Office of Justice Programs, Bulletproof Vest Partnership grant. <br />This grant, if approved, will reimburse the Sheriffs Office for 50% of officer safety vests <br />purchased over the next two years. <br />The total dollars earmarked for this grant is $20,288 (half of the total cost to replace 66 vests). <br />The application, along with the Indian River County Finance Office grant form, is included with <br />this request. <br />Should you have any questions, please contact Planner, Amber Grier, at 772-978-6214.
