DeBraal, Deputy County Attorney <br />Kate Pingolt Cotner, Assistant County Attorney <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />L <br />FROM: Kate Pingolt Cotner, Assistant County Attorne <br />DATE: April 15, 2015 <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Urging the Florida Legislature to Establish a Three Percent (3%) Cap on <br />County Medicaid Costs Under Section 409.915, F.S. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On April 14, 2015, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners ("Board") authorized the <br />County Attorney's Office to draft a resolution urging the Florida Legislature to establish a three percent <br />(3%) cap on the annual growth rate for individual county Medicaid costs under Section 409.915, Florida <br />Statutes.
