<br />EOHFEIME the sum of $36'510:00, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax
<br />rate of,Ohe and Two-fifths (1 2/5) mills upon the dollar be levied, assessed, and is hereby
<br />imposed upon all the property lying and being in the County of Indian River on the first day
<br />of January,, 1950, for the Fine & Forfeiture Fund, to meet the current expenses as estimated inI
<br />the budget.
<br />According to the millage so determined, fixed, assessed the total millage to be
<br />entered in the column provided for the County taxes in the Assessment Roll for the year 19499
<br />is seven and -four -tenths (7.4) mills upon the dollar to cover a total estimated expenditure
<br />of $2259550-35-

<br />Commissioner H. C. Watts introduced the following Resolution and moved its
<br />adoption to -wits
<br />WHEREAS, the respective boards and taxing districts being authorized to fix and 1
<br />taxes upon property situated within Indian River County, Florida, as provided by law, fixed
<br />such tax levies and have certified the same to this Board and this Board having considered the'I
<br />same and having then found them to be proper, therefore be it resolved that;
<br />To meet the current expenses indidental and necessary to the operation of the Public
<br />Schools of the County, and to pay the salaries of teachers, bus drivers and repair school
<br />houses and busses as estimated by the County Board of Public Instruction, the sum of
<br />$4589609.719 it is ddtermined and hereby declared that a tax rate of 4.5 mills upon the dollar)
<br />be levied, assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property in the County of Indian River
<br />°on the first day of January, 1949.
<br />Estimates ha ng been made by the Trustees of SPECIAL TAX SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. l&
<br />and the,%Trustees having certified the rate of millage voted to be assessed it was determined
<br />that a tax rate of six (6) mills upon the.dollar be levied, and is hereby fixed and assessed
<br />for the year 19499 on all of the property taxable for such purposes as provided by law in the
<br />County of Indian River lying and being within the boundaries of the said District No. 1, which)
<br />boundaries are as follows, to -wits Beginning at the Northeast corner of Sec. 3, Tp. 31 S.,
<br />Range 39 E., then run west along County line to N. W. corner of Tp.,31 S., Range 38 E., thence'
<br />South along Range line to S. W. Corner of Sec. 18, Tp. 31 S., Range 38 E., thence East along
<br />Section line to Atlantic Ocean, thence North along. Ocean beach to starting point.

<br />the:Trustees having certified the rate of millage voted to be assessed it was determined that
<br />a tax,rate of gix (6) -mills upon the dollar be levied, and is hereby fixed and assessed for
<br />the year 1949, on all of the property taxable. -for such purposes as provided by law in.the
<br />County of Indian River lying and being within the boundaries of said District No. 72 which
<br />boundaries are as follows, to wits Beginning at the Northeast corner of Sec. 239 Tp. 31 S.,
<br />Range 39 E., then run west along Section line of N. W. Corner of Sec. 199 Tapp. 31 S., Range
<br />38 E., thence South along Range %line to S. W. Corner of Sec. 319 Tp. 31 S., R. 38 E.,
<br />thence East along Section line to Atlantic Ocean Beach to Starting point.
<br />Estimates having been made by the Trustees of SPECIAL TAX SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 8
<br />& 9, and the Trustees having scertified the rate of millage voted to be assessed it was
