Thereupon Commissioner Stewart in ro- <br />!i duced ,the following Resolution and moved its adoption,<a_to-wits <br />R_FSOLUTION <br />1 <br />0 <br />1 <br />0 <br />1 <br />11 <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has made a4 mipleted the estimate of <br />its necessary and ordinary expenses and of all special and extra -ordinary expenditures <br />compemplated as required by law, and duly advertised the same as required by law, anAthis <br />being the first meeting of said Board of County Commissioners subsequent to the advertising <br />of the same, and said budget being now before this Board for final considerate on :and adoption <br />having been duly considered; Therefore, <br />Be it resolved that the said County Commissioners' budget and estAteof expenses <br />and expenditures for the year 1949-1950 as heretofore prepared and duly advertised,and it <br />is herewith ratified, confirmed, and finally adopted by this Board subject to the followiLng <br />iI provisions. <br />( Board of Public Instruction) <br />"No part of this appropriation shall be payable unless and untl the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County receives a sum in excess of $559000.00 from race <br />track funds during the fiscal year 1949-1950; after receipt of $559000.00 by said County from <br />said source in such fiscal year, and which sum has been otherwise appropriated, then all sums <br />in excess of $55,000.00 received from such source in such year shan be paid to the Board of <br />Public Instruction of Indian River County until said Board shall have received $209000.00 <br />from such source." <br />11_ <br />I (Hospital) <br />"Notpart of this appropriation shall become payable unless and until Indian River <br />County has received more than $759000.00 from race track allos to said County in the <br />is <br />11 fiscal year 1949-19509 and the first $75,000.00 of said receipts having been ,otherwise herein <br />appropriated; that upon the receipt of such $759000.009 then any sums received from such <br />source in said.fiscal year in excess of $759000.00 shall. -be paid to Indian River County Hospi <br />Association, Inc., until said said Association shall have reeetWdsaid stagy..,,4 . � 0 1 r <br />7 �a <br />0 <br />Motion for the adoption of the Resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Watts <br />and unanimously adopted, <br />i <br />Notary Public Bond of Camille Knight in the sum of $500.00 with American Surety <br />i <br />Company as surety was approved July 13, 19499 by Douglas Baker, Clerk Circuit Court as <br />prcyided by law. <br />Notary Public Bond for Ralph Sedgwick in the sum of $500.00 with Massachusetts <br />Bonding and Insurance Company as surety was approved July 14, 1949, by Douglas BgkeV, Clerk <br />Circuit Court as provided by law. <br />Td Carswell representing Florida HJghwgXs being the official publication of -State <br />Road Department and Highway Patrol appeared before the Hoard, and after considerable dis- <br />cussion, on motion of Commissioner Stewart, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried, the <br />Board authorized the.expenditure of $155.00 from the General Revenue Fund to purchase one <br />page for advertising purposes of Indian Diver County in said F or da His�hwa_ys with the <br />understanding that with the purchase of one page the State gives an additional 1 -age. <br />
