Baird, County Administrator <br /> From: Vincent Burke, P.E., Director of Utility Services <br /> Prepared By: Arjuna Weragoda, P.E., Capital Projects Manager Aw <br /> Terry Southard, Utility Operations Manager <br /> Subject: Final Pay and Release of Retainage for R.J.Sullivan Corp on the Central WWTP <br /> Sludge Holding Tank Modifications Project—UCP 4102 <br /> Bid No: 2014006 <br /> DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> On March 11, 2014 the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) awarded the <br /> contract for the Central WWTP Sludge Holding Tank Modifications to R.J. Sullivan Corporation at a <br /> cost of $654,000.00. Notice to proceed was issued on April 10th, 2014 to R.J. Sullivan to start the <br /> work at the Central Waste Water Treatment Plant (CWWTP). <br /> ANALYSIS: <br /> R.J. Sullivan Corporation has completed the tank modifications project satisfactorily, on time and <br /> under budget and is requesting a final release of retainage. To date, R.J. Sullivan Corporation has <br /> been paid $619,076.17. Payment in the amount of $32,582.95 as release of retainage will complete <br /> the County's obligation to the contractor. The project came in $2,340.88 under budget. <br /> FUNDING: <br /> Funding for the Tank Modifications project at the CWWTP is available in the Utilities R & R budget <br /> in the Operating funds. The Operating fund budget is derived from water and sewer sales. <br /> 128 <br />
