The project <br /> consists of the construction of a 2,650± LF, 12' wide asphalt millings walking trail in the Gifford <br /> Community. Nine (9) bids were received and opened. A detailed bid tabulation is on file and available <br /> for viewing in the County Engineering Division. <br /> Bid totals are as follows: <br /> Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc. Stuart, Florida NA <br /> * Failed to submit bid form as updated by addendum#1—determined to be unresponsive. <br /> ** Denotes a mathematical error that was found and the bid amount corrected. <br /> Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc. is considered to be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder for the <br /> project with a bid totaling $128,723.60. Timothy Rose Contracting, Inc. has completed various <br /> construction projects for the County and has consistently performed work in a satisfactory manner. <br /> FUNDING <br /> In 2014,the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's(FDEP)Recreational Trails Program(RTP) <br /> awarded $134,000 cost-share grant to fund construction of the ±2,650' trail.
