AUTHORIZE THE VALUE ADJUSTMENT BOARD CLERK TO SOLICIT FOR <br />L ATTORNEY AND APPRAISER SPECIAL MAGISTRATES FOR THE 2013 TAX YEAR <br />HEARINGS <br />L <br />L <br />ON MOTION by School Board Member Carol Johnson, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner O'Bryan, the Board <br />unanimously authorized the Value Adjustment Board Clerk to <br />solicit for Attorney and Appraiser Special Magistrates for the <br />2013 Tax Year Hearings. <br />10. ACCEPTANCE OF RESIGNATION OF SCHOOL BOARD BUSINESS CITIZEN <br />MEMBER <br />A. Appreciation for Rose Spytek's 3 years of public service <br />B. Report on Status of Nomination of Successor — Carol Johnson <br />Vice Chairman Davis, along with comments of several other Board Members, expressed <br />deep regret in receiving the resignation of Citizen Member Rose Spytek from the VAB, and <br />expressed appreciation for her time and effort that she contributed to the Value Adjustment <br />Board. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by Vice <br />Chairman Davis, the Board unanimously accepted the <br />resignation of Rose Spytek from the position of Business Citizen <br />Member of the Value Adjustment Board, effective at the close of <br />the VAB 2012 tax cycle. <br />School Board Member Carol Johnson announced that the School Board was seeking a <br />replacement to fill the vacancy of Business Citizen Member to the VAB, and asked everyone to <br />notify the School Board if they knew of a qualified applicant. <br />4 <br />
