MONDAY , MARCH 14th 1927. <br />The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, -Florida, met at <br />the Court House in Vero Beach on Monday, Maxch 14th, 1927 at 2 o'clock P.M. The <br />following members of the Board were present: John H. Atkin, Chairman, Geo.A.Braddock; <br />J. '.LaBruce and 0. 0. Helseth. Also present was Miles Warren, Clerk. <br />The Chairman announced the Board had been called together by him for tie purpose <br />of arriving at some definite plan regarding the funds on hand in the Farmers Bank & <br />Trust Company of Vero Beach, now closed, and such other business as may properly come <br />before it. <br />Mr. John Corsa. representing the Farmers Bank & Trust Company, (or the re -organiza- <br />tion Cornnittee of such Bank) aPpeared before the Board with respect to public funds on <br />deposit in such Bank and under the jurisdiction of this Board. After some discussion <br />a*d taking into consideration the security now held by the State Comptroller and this <br />Board, it was ordered that the Clerk write a letter to the Bank outlining and stating <br />the terms of withdrawal this Board will follow in the event the institution is re -opened <br />for business. <br />The Deputy Sheriff bond of Walter Duncan in the sum of 41,000.00 with L.A.Moeller <br />and T.M.Knight as sureties was approved. <br />The following resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />BE IS MSOLVBD by the Board of County Commissioners, that the sum of X3500.00 <br />be transferred from the Fine & Forfeiture Fund to the General Revenue Fund, in order to <br />meet current expenses now due and payable. Such transfer to be made only upon the <br />approval of the State Comptroller. <br />There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board <br />them adjourned until the next regular meeting to be held in April 1927. <br />ATTEST <br />1 e r . <br />airman. <br />
