While Public Safety Officers do not represent the ability to respond from <br /> a single location as a team, they are positioned in emergency vehicles within the jurisdiction <br /> boundaries. In recognition of this increased response capability the value of responding <br /> members is divided by 2. <br /> Call and volunteer members sleeping at fire stations are considered as on-duty members for <br /> the proportional time that they at the fire station. <br /> The average number of personnel responding with those companies credited as Automatic <br /> Aid under Items 513 and 549 are considered for either on-duty or volunteer personnel as is <br /> appropriate.
