3 MIT mar <br /> 'j Public Hearing(Third Reso.) 1/21/97(resollouis)Vk/DC <br /> i <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 97- 10 <br /> I'D <br /> CO <br /> A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br /> CONFIRMING THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH <br /> A WATER MAIN EXTENSION TO LOUISIANA AVENUE (MAIN C11 <br /> STREET TO COUNTY ROAD 512); PROVIDING FOR SPECIAL iN <br /> ASSESSMENT LIENS TO BE MADE OF RECORD. <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has, by <br /> Resolution No. 96-162, adopted December 17, 1996, determined to make special assessments <br /> against certain properties to be serviced by a water main extension to Louisiana Avenue (Main <br /> Street to County Road 512); and <br /> WHEREAS, said resolution described the manner in which said special assessments shall <br /> be made and how said special assessments are to be paid; and M; <br /> co <br /> WHEREAS, the resolution was published in the Vero Beach Press Journal, as required by .� <br /> Section 206.04, Indian River County Code;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County passed w <br /> Resolution No. 96-163 on December 17, 1996, and set a time and place for a public hearing at N) <br /> which the owners of the properties to be assessed and other interested persons would have the v <br /> chance to be heard as to any and all complaints as to said project and said special assessments, <br /> and for the Board to act as required by Section 206.07, Indian River County Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of the public hearing was published in the Press <br /> Journal Newspaper on Wednesday, January 15, 1997, and once again on Wednesday, January <br /> 21, 1997 (twice one week apart; the last being at least one week prior to the hearing), as required <br /> by Section 206.06, Indian River County Code;and <br /> WHEREAS, the land owners of record were mailed notices at least ten days prior to the <br /> hearing, as required by Section 206.06, Indian River County Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County on Tuesday, <br /> February 4, 1997, at 9:05 a.m. conducted the public hearing with regard to the special <br /> assessments; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY cD <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: =0 <br /> 1. The foregoing recitals are affirmed and ratified in their entirety. <br /> W <br /> 2. The special assessments shown on the attached assessment roll are hereby confirmed and co <br /> approved, and shall remain legal, valid, and binding first liens against the properties assessed <br /> until paid in full.
