Through this concept, IRCSO will be able to focus resources <br /> to target specific offenders and high criminal activity areas with the goal of reducing gun violence <br /> inciiflents through a concentrated effort. Additionally, the Major Crime Team ,will deploy a systematic,, <br /> approach of S.M.A.R.T. (Strategic Management,'AnalySis, Response, and Tactics) Policing; along with <br /> - 't, ^^lictrn Through Environmental Design) in identified "hot-spot" neighborhoods. This <br /> approach leverages the principles r' community collaboration, organizational transformation and problem- <br /> sviviug, and is strengthened through the use of intelligence-led policing to drive performance measures. <br /> This data and information shall be disseminated to deputies and supervisors routinely to identify areas in <br /> need of increased patrol and facilitate predictive policing.
