(Case No.: 312011CA002999) <br /> BACKGROUND. <br /> A mediation session in Indian River County vs. Turner Construction Company et al. is scheduled for <br /> July 10, 2015. In accordance with Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes the County Attorney requests <br /> that the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners (the "Board") schedule a closed attorney- <br /> client session to be held on August 18, 2015 in the County Commissioners' Conference Room. Per <br /> Florida Statutes, the subject matter of the meeting shall be confined to settlement negotiations and/or <br /> strategy sessions related to litigation expenditures. The attendees at the session will be the Board, the <br /> County Administrator, the County Attorney, outside counsel, Casey Walker, and a certified court <br /> reporter. Reasonable public notice will be given of the session. It is estimated that the session will last <br /> approximately 45 minutes. <br /> RECOMMENDATION. <br /> The County Attorney recommends that the Board schedule a closed attorney-client session to occur at <br /> 10:30 AM on August 18, 2015. <br /> Indian River Co.
