Mehta, P.E. <br /> Managing Director <br /> Indian River County—Solid Waste Disposal District <br /> 132574 h Avenue SW <br /> Vero Beach ,FL 32968 <br /> Subject: Work Order#1 — Household Hazardous Waste Bid Services — Indian River County, <br /> Florida <br /> Dear Mr. Mehta: <br /> SCS Engineers (SCS) is please to present the following proposal for development of a <br /> Household Hazardous Waste(HHW) and Special Waste Collection Services Bid Package. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES - EXHIBIT A <br /> Task 1 — Development of Technical Specifications and Conditions <br /> SCS will assist the County in developing specifications and conditions for the County's bid <br /> package. At the outset, the County will provide pertinent details on the current HHW collection <br /> program. Similar HHW and special waste collection bid packages will be collected from <br /> similarly-sized Florida counties. This benchmark information will then be used to develop a <br /> specific set of technical specifications and conditions for the bid document. SCS will also <br /> prepare the required vendor bid forms to accompany the bid package. These materials will then <br /> be submitted to the County for its review and approval. <br /> Task 2 — Assistance During Bid Evaluation <br /> A representative of SCS will attend a pre-bid meeting with the County. Once bids are received, <br /> SCS will assist the County in review of the required vendor submittals. <br /> SCS appreciates the opportunity to assist you with this project.
