CONSENT: 7/14/15 <br /> vL Ofce of <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> ATTORNEY <br /> Dylan Reingold,County Attorney <br /> William K.DeBraal,Deputy County Attorney <br /> Kate Pingolt Cotner,Assistant County Attorney <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: Board of County Commissioners <br /> FROM: Dylan Reingold - County Attorney <br /> DATE: June 30, 2015 <br /> RE: Resolutions Delegating the Authority to the County Administrator or his <br /> Designee to Call Letters of Credit and to Act on Behalf of Indian River <br /> County during the time frames of July 15, 2015, through and including <br /> August 17, 2015, and August 19, 2015, through and including September <br /> 14, 2015 <br /> The Indian River County Board of County Commissioners has canceled regularly scheduled <br /> meetings during the two time frames of July 15, 2015, through and including August 17, 2015, <br /> and then again on August 19, 2015, through and including September 14, 2015. During these <br /> two intervals, it is necessary and desirable that the Board delegate to the County Administrator, <br /> or his designee, the authority to call Letters of Credit that may expire during these two time <br /> intervals. Further, it is necessary and desirable that the Board delegate to the County <br /> Administrator, or his designee the authority to execute all other documents necessary for the <br /> proper functioning of the County. In Resolution No. 2014-106, the Board delegated the <br /> authority to sign any resolution or proclamation of local emergency or state-wide emergency <br /> that affects Indian River County, together with any and all emergency orders and other acts <br /> required in connection therewith, to the County Administrator, or his designee. Resolution No. <br /> 2014-106 remains in full force and effect through December 31, 2015. Additionally, in <br /> Resolution No. 2014-105, the Board delegated to the County Administrator or his designee, the <br /> authority to sign resolutions on behalf of the Board to call letters of credit which may expire or <br /> otherwise require action to be taken during the period of a declared state of local emergency or <br /> declared State of Florida emergency affecting Indian River County.
