County Deeds Nos. 313 and 314 were executed by the Board as provided by Chapter <br />194, Florida Statutes' 1941. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Stewart, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried, <br />it was ordered that the suit in regard to right-of-way AlA be filed July 10, 1950. See <br />Resolution below. <br />E;QUALI ZATION RES OLUT I ON <br />Commissioner Watts introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption as <br />follows, to -wits <br />WHEREAS, the laws of the State of Florida provide that the County Tax Assessors <br />shall complete the assessment roll on or before the 1st Monday in July and shall meet with <br />this Board at the Clerk's office on such day for the purpose of hearing complaints and re- <br />ceiving testimony as to the value of any property, real or personal, as fixed by the County <br />Tax Assessor and for the purpose of perfecting, revising and equalizing the assessment roll <br />and that the County Commissioners, as they deem it necessary, may extend the time for the <br />completion of such assessment roll and for the purpose of revising and equalizing the same; <br />AND, <br />WHEREAS, the preparation of said assessment roll has been delayed in this County <br />due to the delay in receiving equipment and machinery nedessary in the preparation of such <br />assessment roll and for such reason, the County Commissioners of Iidian River County deem <br />it necessary to extend the time for such meeting; WOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the time in which the Tax Assessor shall complete such <br />assessment roll and shall meet with the Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of <br />a hearing thereon and for the purpose of perfecting the same as hereinabove recited, be and <br />it is herewith extended to and including August 1, 1950, at 10:00 o'clock A. M., at which <br />time said Board shall meet for the purpose above set forth. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board is herewith directed to publish' <br />a notice as provided by law of this extension and of the time of said meeting. <br />The foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Woods and unanimously <br />aadopted. <br />ROAD A 1 A RIGHT OF la RESOLUTION <br />The following Resolution was introdu ed by Commissioner Stewart who moved its <br />adoption as follows, to -wit: <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary and to the best interests of this County that said County <br />acquire by eminent domain all of the remaining property necessary in order to provide a right <br />of way in Indian River County Florida from Beachland Boulevard in the City of Vero Beach <br />south to the south County line, AND, <br />WHEREAS, this County has secured all of said right of way for the location and <br />construction of a State Road thereon to be known as State Road A].A excepting only the follow- <br />ing parts or parcels thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida that this Board does herewith authorize and direct the acquirement by eminent domain <br />for such purposes of the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />
