<br />Commissioner Stewaft introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption
<br />as follows, to -wit:
<br />BE IT FURTHER'RESOLVEDthat the rate of Taxation necessary to meet the expenditures
<br />of the Board of County -Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, for the fiscal year
<br />1950-1951 pursuant to the budget of said Board as heretofore published, amended and approved,
<br />is as hereinafter levied and that the tax rate as hereinafter shown and set forth, be and it
<br />is hereby levied on all taxable Propertyin Indian.River County, Florida, for the year 1950,
<br />with the rate hereinafter set out, to.wit:
<br />In order to meet the estimated current expenses of the County of Indian River of
<br />the sum of $106,053.00, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of five and
<br />Three-fifths (5.3/5) mills upon the dollar be levied and is hereby imposed upon all of the
<br />property lying and being in the County of Indian River on the first day of January 1950,
<br />for the GENER4 (EVENUE gpligt, to meet the current expenses of the County and to provide for
<br />the expenditures as estimated in the budget hereinbefore set forth.
<br />To cover the amount of the estimated expenses for keeping the County Roads in
<br />good shape and for the construction and repairing of bridges and other necessary expenses to
<br />keep
<br />the roads of the County in good condition and provide other roads when necessary of
<br />$85,015.00,it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of One (1) mill upon the
<br />dollar be levied, assessed and is hereby imposed upon all of the property lying and being
<br />in the County of Indian River on the first day of January 1950, to meet the current expenses
<br />of the County as estimated in the budget for BSD & BRIDGE .
<br />To meet the interest payments and provide a sinking fund for the ultimate redemption
<br />of County Court Souse bonds, in pursuance of the requirements of the law the sux of

<br />the dollar be levied, assessed, and is hereby imposed upon all the property lying and being

<br />ment Fund to meet the current expenses as estimated' in the budget.
<br />According to the millage so determined, tixed,'assessed the total millake to be
<br />entered in the column provided for the County taxes in the Assessment Roll for the year
<br />1950, is,Ten and Twp -tenths ( lis upon the dollar to cover a total estimated expendi-
<br />ture of $273,38.40.
