Commissioner Stewart introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption
<br />as follows, to-wit:
<br />WHEREAS, the existing wooden bridge traversing the Indian River at Vero Beach,
<br />Florida, was originally constructed by a Special Tax District of Indian River County, Florida;
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, the contract with Cleary Brothers ®onttruction Company and the State Road
<br />Department of the State of Florida for the erection of a new concrete bridge replacing this
<br />old wooden structure provides for the removal of the existing wooden structure; Now, therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida,
<br />that this Board does herewith request the State Road Department of the State of Florida to
<br />deliver all of such salvaged materials from said existing wooden bridge to Indian River
<br />County, Florida, at the East bridge -head of said existing bridge.
<br />The foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Waddell and unanimously
<br />adopted.
<br />The Board proceeded to and did name and select the following persons as Inspectors
<br />and Clerk of election of the various precincts to hold and conduct the General Election to
<br />be held Tuesday, November 7, 1950.
