<br />ISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER CO.,
<br />I, THAD H. CARLTON, of the County of St. Lucie State of Florida, being the owner of
<br />Tax Sale Certificates No. 3202 and 3207 dated the 4th day of September 1933, in the sum
<br />of $154.71 and 19.47, respectively, covering the following described property, to -wit:
<br />All of Section 31, Township 32 South, Range 38 East, and Wi of SW* of Section 3 2,
<br />Township 32 South, Range 38 East, respectively, hereby make application to your Honorable
<br />Body to issue a duplicate Tax Sale Certificates in lieu of the original_ described herein
<br />for the following reasons:
<br />(1) That said Tax Sale Certificates were purchased on April 3, 1939, by W. H.
<br />Crosby for which he paid the sum of $25.30 and $14.54, respectively, and were
<br />heretofore assigned by him to me for $1.00 and other valuable considerations.
<br />(2) That said Tax Sale Certificates, or any interest therein, have not been
<br />hypothecated, sold, assigned, transferred or delivered by me and I have
<br />received no consideration therefor.
<br />That said Tax Sale Certificates have been lost or destroyed and that I have
<br />made diligent search and am unable to locate said certificate.
<br />That if duplicate Certificates issued in lieu thereof and the originals
<br />should at any time be located, the same will be surrendered to the Clerk of
<br />the Circuit Court of Indian River County for cancellation.
<br />That I, THAD H. CARLTON, as a further consideration acknowledge myself held
<br />and firmly bound unto Douglas Baker, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Indian
<br />River County, and his successors in office,in the sum of�;$348.36, being
<br />double the amount of the face value of saiTax Certificate, for payment
<br />whereof well and truly tobe made, I bind myself,', heirs executors and
<br />administrators firmly by these presents should said Certificate be presented
<br />by any person whomsoever, assigned or otherwise, for payment or application
<br />for Tax Deed thereon.
<br />I solemnly swear, or affirm, that the statembnts contained herein in support of
<br />my application for issuance of duplicate Tax Sale Certificate, are true and correct. So
<br />help me God.
