TUESDAY, 32 1927• <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met at <br />the Court House in Vero Beach, on Tuesday, May 3rd 1927, with the following members <br />of the Board present: John H. Atkin, Chairman; G. A. Braddock; J. W. LaBruce J.J.P. <br />Hamilton and 0. 0. Helseth/. Also present were Piles Warren, Clerk and J. W. Kni- <br />ght, Sheriff. <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />The Notary Public bond of CJI. M. Fisk, in the sum of $500.00 with the <br />American Surety Company, a corporation, as surety was approved. <br />The Notary Public bond of Bessie Gibbs in the sum of $500.00 with the <br />American Surety Company, a corporation, of New York as surety was approved. <br />The Deputy Sheriff bond of J. C. Monroe, in the sum of $1,000.00 with <br />Samuel A. Rice and S.S.Ponroe, as sureties was approved. <br />It was ordered that the County Engineer be instructed to build a standard grade <br />nine foot hard surface road from Sebastian-Fellsmere Highway to the Fellsmere <br />cemetery, a distance of about 600 feet. <br />It was ordered that the Chairman and County Engineer investigate the matter of <br />securing additional right-of-way on Osceola Boulevard west of the City of Fero <br />Beach city limits --the present right-of-way of 30 feet not deemed adequate. <br />Geo. T. Tippin was endorsed to the'Commissioner of Agriculture as County Enumer- <br />ator for Indian River County for the year 1927. <br />It was ordered that the County Fngineer take care of Drainage on State Road <br />No. 4 South of Vero Beach. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were <br />examined and approved -and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. The said <br />bills and accounts being on file in the Clerk's office and which by reference <br />thereto is made a part of these minutes. <br />The several County Depositories of the County filed their monthly statements <br />of the accounts of the various funds of the County, which were found to be correct. <br />There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried the <br />Board adjourned. <br />Charman <br />ATTEST <br />e r <br />-------------- <br />L, <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
