<br />The foregoing application coming on to be heard on this date by the Board of County a
<br />Commissioners of Indian River County, and after due consideration, the Board having thvroug .y
<br />investigated said matter and being fully satisfied that said claim is a valid one,
<br />It is considered and ordered, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, that the
<br />Clerk of the Circuit Court Of Indian River County be and he is hereby instructed to issue a
<br />duplicate Tax Sale Certificate in favor of the above named applicant in lieu of the Certi-
<br />ficate above described which has been lost or destroyed, and that proper record of same be
<br />entered in the Tax Sale Record in the office of the said Clerk, as provided in Chap. 193.59
<br />of the Fla. Statutes.

<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met at the Court House in
<br />regular meeting at 10:00 A. M., Tuesdays February 69 1951, with the following members present:
<br />Tom N. Stewart, Chairman; W. C. Graves, Jr., Aubrey L. Waddell, H. C. Watts and J. J. P.
<br />Hamilton. Also present were C. P. Diamond, Attorney from the firm of Mitchell, Smith &
<br />Mitchell; E. E. Carter, Road and Bridge Superintendent; Douglas Baker, Clerk; and L. B. O'Steen,;
<br />Sheriff.
<br />Minutes of the previous meetings were read and the same were approved upon motion
<br />of Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried.
<br />Mrs. Anne Christensen, County Case Welfare Worker, appeared before the Board and
<br />made a report.of her activities and was commended,�by the Board for such a splendid report and
<br />for the efficient work which she was doing.
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Hatilton, the Board
<br />agreed to pay Radinsky nursing h6me in Roseland the sum of $75.00 each for the care of W. 0.
<br />Phinney and Lewis Hallbach. The increase from $65.00 to $75.00 per month was requested by
<br />Mrs. W. S. Radinsky.
<br />RESOLUTION -- FISHING PIER VERO BEACH BRIDGE
<br />COMMISSIONER GRAVES introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption
<br />as follows, to -wit:
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Vero Beach, Florida, has, by its Resolution No.5101 requested
<br />the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, to release and convey to
<br />the City of Vero Beach' Florida, that portion of the old wooden bridge across the Indian
<br />River forming a part of State Road 502, which said bridge will become obsolete upon the com-
<br />pletion of the new concrete bridge across said river; and,
<br />WMEAS, this Board has heretofore, by Resolution, requested bhe State Road Depart-
<br />ment to release said old wooden bridge to Indian River County, Florida, when the same has been
<br />approved by the State Road Department of the State of Florida insofar as the same gplies to
<br />said obsolete bridge lying Eastward of a line 110 feet Eastward from the center line of the
<br />center of the swing pier of said obsolete bridge; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Vero Beach, Florida,has agreed to accept and receive that
