2/00reso.PLAB2/Ow <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 022 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, AMENDING <br />RESOLUTION 86-104 WHICH ESTABLISHED THE PUBLIC <br />LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County by Resolution 86-104 established the Public Library <br />Advisory Board; and <br />WHEREAS, the composition of the Board was set at one member from each <br />Commission District and two at -large members for a total membership of seven; and <br />WHEREAS, it now appears in the public interest to increase the Board's size to nine <br />members; <br />WHEREAS, to bring membership in line with District appointments, District <br />appointments should run concurrent with the term of the appointing Commissioner; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS that: <br />1. Resolution 86-104 is amended by increasing the membership to nine. <br />2. There shall be five district members, a commissioner and three at -large <br />members for a total of nine members. <br />3. The term of at -large members shall be four years and the term of District <br />members shall run concurrent with the term of the appointing Commissioner. <br />4. All other terms of Resolution 86-104 shall remain unchanged. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Gi nn and <br />the motion was seconded by Commissioner Stanbridge <br />, and, upon being put to a <br />vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Fran B. Adams <br />Aye <br />Vice Chairman Caroline D. Ginn <br />Aye <br />Commissioner Kenneth R. Macht <br />Aye <br />Commissioner John W. Tippin <br />Aye <br />Commissioner Ruth M.
