II <br />i <br />II <br />9 <br />e <br />SATURDAY, MAY 21st 1927. <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met <br />at the Court House in Vero Beach, Florida, at 10 o'clock, A.M.Saturday, May <br />21st 19279 with the following members of the Board present: John H. Atkin, <br />Chairman; Geo.A.Braddook; J.W.laBruce; J.J.P.Hamilton and O.O.Helseth. Also <br />present was Miles Warren, Clerk. <br />The Chairman announced the meeting had been called for the purpose of <br />considering increase in salaries that are paid by and under the direction of <br />the Board of County Commissioners. <br />On motion made by Commissioner G. A. Braddock and seconded by 0. 0. Hel- <br />Seth, that the Board go on record as opposed to any increase in any salary of <br />any person or officer employed by the County, payment of which is made by the <br />Board of County Commissioners. On roll call of this motion the vote was as <br />Commissioners, <br />follows: Yeas;/O.O.Helseth; J.I.haBruce; G.A.Braddock; J. J.P.Ramilton and the <br />Chairman, John H. Atkin. Nays --Hone. <br />On motion made by Commissioner J.J.P.Hemilton and seconded by Commissioner <br />Geo. A. Braddock, it was ordered that in event of the creation of new Circuit <br />Court for Indian River and proposed new County of Felteher that the Board go on <br />record as favoring the abolition of the County Court, and that the County <br />attorney be instructed to prepare such legislation and present to Representative <br />Knight. Such motion upon being put to a vote was unanimously adopted. <br />There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried the <br />.y <br />Board* then adjourned until the regular meeting to.be held in June 19,27. <br />11_5 <br />- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - <br />
