service <br />Board stating that it was very essential and neccessary, that a twenty-four hour ask be <br />maintained in the Radio room at the City Hall,in other words that three men working aright <br />ed <br />hours each should be employed and request the Board to increase thela-ppropiation from $1400 <br />to $2800 to be applied as salary, in order to maintain twenty-four hour service. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and carried' <br />the Board agreed to and granted the foregoing request and ordered said amount be appropiated <br />for this purpose in the 1951-1952 Budget, effective October 1, 1951* <br />Pursuant to Resolution #516, adopted by the City of Vero Beach on the 13th day <br />of June, 19511 in respect to release from dedication of certain property in Block 3, Vero <br />Beach Estates, the following Resolution was adopted: <br />ESLIITI EVO A <br />Commissioner Graves introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption <br />as follows to wit: <br />aASO&II1IOA <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution heretofore adopted by the City Council of the City of Vero <br />Beach, as to all of the parcels of property hereinafter described? the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 220799 <br />Laws of Florida, did dedicate to public use and purposes by the City of Vero Beach, Florida, <br />all of the parcels of property hereinafter described; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Vero Beach, Florida, has delivered to this Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County' Florida, a duly certified copy of Resolution adopted <br />by the City Council of said City, reciting that said City has no present or prospective use <br />for public purposes of the parcels of property hereinafter described$ and releasing all claim <br />of said City thereto and requesting and authorizing that this Board revoke its dedication of <br />0 <br />1 <br />40 <br />said parcels of property herewith described for public use and purposes, and to thereupon <br />handle and dispose thereof as.provided by said Chapter 22079; therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED$ that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, does hereby revoke its dedication for public use and purposes of the.parcels of <br />property hereinafter deseribsed, and does herewith instruct the Clerk of this Board and the <br />Clerk of the Circuit Court of Indian River County$ Florida, to cause his records to show aco, <br />cordingly, and to cause said parcels of property to be made available for sale as.provided <br />by said Chapter 22079 of the Laws of norida, and to forward a certified copy of this Re- <br />solution to the Tax Assessor of Indian River County, and to the Tax Assessor of the City of <br />Vero Beach, Florida. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED' that the Clerk of the Circuit Court$ in determining the <br />basis and minim= price for which the lands hereinafter described shall be offered; for sale, <br />shall compute the area of each of said parcels, and the total area of the parcel or lot of <br />which it is a part, obtain the percentage that the area, of which dedication is herewith re- <br />o - <br />vo$ed, bears to the `total area of the parcel or lot of which it is a part, said percentage <br />shall thereupon be applied to the total base or minimum price fixed by law for_ -said entire <br />parcel or lot, and the result shall be the min4inum price for which e'aid parcel,,dedication <br />of which is herewith revoked, shall be offered for sale* <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the parcels of property, the dedication of which is <br />• <br />herewith and hereby revoked, are those parcels of property situated in Vero Beach Estates, a <br />subdivision in Indian River County, Florida, as per recorded Plat thereof, and as specifi- <br />cally described as follows, to -wit: <br />That portion of Lot 25, Block 39 Vero Beach Estates according to Plat' <br />thereof recorded in the office of the Clerk of the 8ircuit Court of St. <br />Lucie County, Florida, in Plat Book 5, page 8$ desdribed as follows: <br />
