<br />The committee, appointed in the matter, made a verbal report and recommended that
<br />the order to vacate be executed, effective August 31, 1951.
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Graves and unanimously
<br />carried the Board ac.cepted the report and recommendation of the committee and it was ordered.
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Graves and unanimously
<br />carried, the Wabasso Civic Club was named as the operating agency for the Wabasso Beach
<br />property with the understanding that the property shall be self-sustaining and that no County
<br />funds shall be spent°on building or property.
<br />Notary Public Bond for Anna D. Scent in the sum of $500.00, with the 'American Surety
<br />of New York as surety, was approved by Douglas Baker, 81erk Circuit Court, August 2, 1951,
<br />as provided by law.

<br />Gentlemen:
<br />I, C. P. Diamond, of the County of Indian River State of Florida, being the owner of
<br />Tax Sale Certificate No. 693 dated the 4th day of August 1941, in the sum of $14.19 covering
<br />the following described property, to -wits
<br />Ej of SEJ lying W of FEC Ry:,, (less canal et al), Sec. 159 Twp. 32 S., Rge. 39 E.
<br />hereby make application to your Honorable Body to issue a duplicate Tax Sale Certificate in
<br />lieu of the original described herein for the Following reasons:
<br />(1) That said Tax Sale Certificate was purchased by me July 309 1951 for which I
<br />paid the sum of $14.19.
<br />(2) That said Tax Sale Certificate, or any interest therein, has not been hypothe-
<br />cated, sold, assigned, transferred or delivered by me and I have received no consideration
<br />therefor.
<br />(3) That said Tax Sale Certificate has been lost or destroyed and that I have made
<br />diligent search and am unable to locate said certificate.
<br />(4) That if duplicate Certificate is issued in lieu thereof and the original should
<br />at any time be located, the same will be surrendered to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
<br />Indian River County for cancellati6n.
<br />(5) That I, C. P. Deamond, as a further consideration acknowledge myself held and
<br />firmly bound unto Douglas Baker, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Indian River County, and his
<br />successors in office, in the sum of $28.38, being double the amount of the face value of said
<br />Tax Certificate, for payment whereof well and truly to be made, I bind myself, heirs, execu-
<br />tors and administ;ators firmly by these presents should said Certificate be presented by any
<br />person whomsoever, assigned or otherwise, for payment or application for Tax Deed thereon.
<br />I solemnly swear, or affirm, that the statements contained herein in support of my ap-
<br />plication for issuance of duplicate Tax Sale Certificate, are true and correct. So help me
