<br />BE IT RESOLVED that the said County Commissioners' budget and estimate of expenses
<br />.$and expenditures for the year 1951-1952 as heretofore prepared and duly advertised, and it
<br />is herewith ratified, confirmed, and finally adopted by this Board :,Subject to the following
<br />;i provisions.

<br />"No part of this appropriation shall be payable unless and until the Board of
<br />County Commissioners of Indian River County receives a sum in excess of $60,000.00 from
<br />grace track funds during the fiscal year 1951-1952; after receipt of $60,000.00 by said
<br />i,
<br />County from said source in such fiscal year, and which sum has been otherwise appropriated,
<br />jlthen all sums in excess of $60,000.00 received from such source in such year shall be paid
<br />'to the Board of Public Instruction of Indian River County until said Board shall have re-
<br />'ceived $20,000.00 from such source."

<br />Motion for the adoption of the Resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Waddell
<br />and unanimously adopted.

<br />The Board then proceeded with the matter of fixing the rate of taxation for Indian
<br />River County for the year 1951, and, after careful consideration of the estimated receipts
<br />and expenditures, the following Resolution was introduced by Commissioner Graves who moved

<br />,its adoption, to -wit:
<br />R E S O L U T I O N
<br />WHEREAS, all acts having been performed and all proceedings had as required by
<br />law and preliminary to the levy of taxes in Indian River County, Florida, for the year'1951;

<br />WHEREAS, the respective Board and taxing districts being authorized to fix and levy
<br />taxes upon property situated within Indian River County, Florida, as provided by law, fixed
<br />such tax levies and have certified the same to this Board and this Board having considered
<br />the same and having then found them to be proper, therefore, be it resolved that;
<br />Estimates having been made by the Board of Commissioners of INDIAN RIVER MOSQUITO
<br />:;CONTROL DISTRICT, and a certified copy of the Resolution filed with this Board, as required
<br />!iby law, and as estimated by the Board of Commissioners, it is determined and hereby declared
<br />;,that a tax rate of Six and five -tenths (6.5) mills upon the dollar be levied, and is hereby
<br />'fixed and assessed for the year 1951, on all.of the property taxable for such purpose as
<br />;provided by law in the County of Indian River, lying and being within the boundaries of said
<br />Indian River Mosquito Control District, the boundaries of said District being described as
<br />lfollows, to -wit: All of that territory in Indian River County, Florida, included with the

<br />''boundaries described as follows, to -wit: Begin at a point where the South boundary line of
<br />Indian River County, Florida, intersects the -Atlantic Ocean; thence run West along the South
<br />!!boundary line of Indian River County, Florida, to the Southwest corner of Section 31, Town-
<br />ship 33 South, Range 36 East; thence run North along the range line dividing Range 35 East
<br />land flange 36 East to the Northwest corner of Section 6, Township 33 South, Range 36 East, and
<br />`:which corner is on the boundary line dividing Township 32 South and Township 33 South; thence
<br />1'run East on the boundary line dividing Township 33 South and Township 32 South to the Southwest
<br />!;corner of Section 36, Township 32 South, Range 38 East; thence run North to the Northwest
