<br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, and after due consideration, the Board having
<br />thoroughly investigated said matter and being fully satisfied that said claim is a valid one,
<br />It is considered and ordered, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried,
<br />that the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Indian River County be and he is hereby instructed to
<br />issue a duplicate Tax Sale Certificate in favor of the above named applicant in lieu of the
<br />Certificate above described which has been lost or destroyed, and that proper record of same
<br />be entered in the Tax Sale Record in the office of the said Clerk, as provided in Chap. 193.59

<br />Notary Public bond for H. Albert Crawford in the sum of $500.00 with American
<br />Surety Company of New York as surety, was approved August 17, 1951 by Douglas Baker, Clerk
<br />Circuit Court, as provided by law.
<br />Hon. Troy E. Moody, Tax Collector, appeared before the Board and submitted a
<br />list of errors, insolvencies and double assessments as to the 1950 Real Estate, Personal Prop-
<br />erty Taxes and Intangible Tax Lists, which were approved.
<br />At the request of Mr. E. G. Thatcher, Secretary -Treasurer Civilian Defense
<br />Council of Indian River County, and upon motion of Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commissioner
<br />Waddell, and unanimously carried, the Board granted permission for such Council to place office;
<br />files and cabinets, together with other necessary supplies and equipment in the County Commis-
<br />sionerst room of the Court House in order that it may be designated as headquarters for the De
<br />fense Council. (Note: Jack Jennings is Chairman and Allison Warren is Vice -Chairman of the
<br />Council.-)
<br />It was ordered that the sum of $100.00 be paid to Marcel A. Boudet,.Secretary,
<br />Indian River County Water Conservation Committee, from the General Revenue Fund.
<br />Application for admission to State Tuberculosis Sanatorium for Viola Stephens
<br />(white), Vero Beach, Florida, was approved.
