BARTON <br />(� CLERK CIRCUIT COURT <br />INDIAN RIVER CO., FLA. <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />CONFIRMING THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS IN CONNECTION <br />WITH A WATER MAIN EXTENSION TO DIXIE HEIGHTS, A <br />PORTION OF DIXIE GARDENS, AND PINEY OAKS SUBDIVISIONS; <br />PROVIDING FOR SPECIAL ASSESSMENT LIENS TO BE MADE OF <br />RECORD. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has, by <br />Resolution No. 2000.046, adopted April 18, 2000, determined to make special <br />assessments against certain properties to be serviced by a water main extension to the <br />areas of Dixie Gardens, a portion of Dixie Gardens. and Piney Oaks; and <br />WHEREAS, said resolution described the manner in which said special <br />assessments shall be made and how said special assessments are to be paid; and <br />WHEREAS, the resolution was published In the Vero Beach Press Journal, as <br />required by Section 206,04, Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County passed <br />Resolution No. 2000-047 on April 18, 2000, and set a time and place for a public <br />hearing at which the owners of the properties to be assessed and other interested <br />persons would have the chance to be heard as to any and all complaints as to said <br />project and said special assessments, and for the Board to act as required by Section <br />206.07, Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of the public hearing was published in <br />the Press Journal Newspaper on Thursday, April 20, 2000, and once again on <br />Thursday, April 27, 2000 (twice one week apart; the last being at least one week prior <br />to the hearing), as required by Section 206.06. Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the lend ovwnom of record were mailed notices at least ten days prior <br />to the hearing, as required by Section 206.06. Indian River County Code: and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County on <br />Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at 9:05 a.m. conducted the public hearing with regard to the <br />special assessments; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: <br />ad <32"a <br />b7 <br />�d Id h� to <br />the Cottut :: ea* <br />
