DeBraal, Deputy County Attorney <br /> DATE: August 11, 2015 <br /> SUBJECT: Temporary Construction Easement for 45t1 Street Beautification Project <br /> Plans for the 451h Street Beautification Project call for landscaping improvements to be <br /> made at Gifford Middle School. Landscaping will be installed along the south side of the ' <br /> school on property owned by the School Board of Indian River County The School Board <br /> has asked the County to accept a Temporary Construction Easement Deed (attached) In <br /> order to complete the work. After the contractor's warranty period ends, the School <br /> District has agreed to incorporate maintenance of plantings in their regular schedule of <br /> lawn and landscaping care at the Middle School. <br /> FUNDING. There is no funding associated with this matter as the document will not be <br /> recorded. <br /> RECOMMENDATION. Staff recommends the Board approve the Temporary <br /> Construction Easement Deed for the installation of landscaping on the south side of <br /> Gifford Middle School in association with the 45th Street Beautification Project and <br /> authorize the Chairman to execute the Acceptance of Conveyance of the easement on <br /> behalf of the Board.
