PROCLAMATION <br /> HONORING JEFF LUTHER ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM THE INDIAN RIVER <br /> COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br /> WHEREAS, Jeff Luther is retiring from the Indian River County Sheriff's Office effective <br /> August 31, 2015; and <br /> WHEREAS, Jeff Luther began his law enforcement career in 1973; and <br /> WHEREAS, Jeff Luther spent the majority of his career in the Special Operations <br /> Section including Ranch & Grove, Marine Enforcement and Aviation, and <br /> WHEREAS, Jeff Luther, during his forty-two year law enforcement career, has served in <br /> many capacities including Public Information Officer and Major, Chief of Staff; and <br /> WHEREAS, Jeff Luther has worked diligently to protect and serve the public and 11 <br /> citizens of Indian River County and the State of Florida; and <br /> WHEREAS, Jeff Luther has been dedicated to his work and greatly appreciated by <br /> Sheriff Loar and those who have had the honor of serving with him. <br /> NOW; `THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, that the Board acknowledges the <br /> contributions Jeff Luther has made to the citizens of Indian River County during his <br /> successful law enforcement career and wish him a happy and prosperous retirement. � <br /> Adopted this 18th day of August, 2015.
