JANUARY 6th 1926. <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met at the <br />Court Rouse is Fero Beach, Florida, st 2 o'clock P.Y.Wednesdy, January 6th 1926, <br />pursuant to adjournment of yesterdy, with the following members of the Board present: <br />John R Atkin, Chairman; ti A Braddook; J.W.IaBruoe; Donald Forbes and 0. 0. Helseth. <br />Also present was Niles Warren, Clerk. <br />The Board pr000ede: to go into executive ssssion for the purpose of further con- <br />sidering the bids received for road construction in special Road b Bridge Distriot No.4. <br />and after carefully oonsidering the bids submitted, it was ordered, on motion made, <br />seconded and oarried that all such bids be rejected. <br />The Board then proceeded to consider the bids for motor trnok equipment bids, <br />and after giving all bids careful oonsidsration and having discussed at some length <br />the propositions so submitted in said bids, it was ordered that the bid for the <br />Indiana Trucks be accepted at the price of $2603.00 each, and the Chairman and Clerk <br />were instruoted to enter into a contract for ths purchase and delivery of ten sash <br />trucks. <br />The Board then proceeded to consider the bids for excavator and cranes, and after <br />haring osrefally oonsidered eaoh and every bid and atter discussing at some length the <br />propositions so submitted, it was ordered, that the County ilgineer and Commissioner <br />J.W.LaBruas investigate the workings of such exnavators under consideration, sad <br />aseertaia and doternine the best mug= and report back their findings, sad ea sash <br />recommendation the Clerk and Chaise:an of this Board are anthoriasd to enter into a <br />contract =or the purchase of such exoavater. <br />The Betsry Public bond of L. F. NhaCullers, in the sum of 000.00 with the Ameriama <br />Surety Company, a corporation, of isw York as surety was apgasved. <br />There being no farther business, ths Beard then adjourned until the regular <br />mmoltm;in/Vbruasy 1936. <br />
