4 <br />County and also upon the following division of the surplus funds and personal or movabl <br />property situated in said counties on June 30, 1925, being the day said Act took effect., <br />AND WHEREAS, the County of Okeechobee was organised in the year 1917, taking part <br />of the territory of St. Lucie County and said Okeechobee County assumed twenty-six per <br />cent of the then existing indebtedness of St Lucie County, Florida, consisting of Bonds is <br />and Time warrants, and in reaching tj:is agreement due consideration has been given to that <br />part of indebtedness of St. Lucie County, which has been previously assumed by Okeechobee <br />County. 1 <br />AND WHEREAS the Legislature of the State of Florida of the year 1925, has also <br />provided for the creation and organisation of 15artin County which new County takes a <br />portion of St Lucie County, and due consideration has been given to the effect of the <br />creation of tartin County in, reaching this agreement, <br />AND WEIR A8 it has been a,.:eed by the two Counties to this agreement that the total <br />assessed valuation of all taxable property both real and personal of the territory of <br />8t Lucie County, Indian River County and that portion of St. Lucie County to be included <br />in le►rtin County is $9,076,745.00 and the parties to this agreement have agreed that <br />Indian River County has taxable property within its boundaries amounting to 43.4 per cent <br />of the said total assessed valuation. <br />_ r <br />NOW, THIS A(9 NT WITNESSETH: That out of the total surplus funds of St Lucie <br />County, Florida, Indian River County is entitled to and shall receive the following <br />amounts out of the following named funds of St Lucie County, Florida, which are under the <br />control of the Board of County Commissioners of St Lucie County, Florida. <br />CASH ON HAND JULY 1st 1925 in various funds of St Lucie County <br />on which Indian River County receives 43.4 per cent. <br />FUNDS <br />General <br />Pine & Forfeiture <br />Road & Bridge <br />Interest & Sinking <br />)bothers Pension <br />Agricultural <br />Publicity <br />SR & B Dist #1 (Int.&Sinking Fund) <br />Public Highway Bund (Special) <br />Road & Dock Bond Fund..(8pecialj <br />Road & Bridge Notes of 1925 <br />The <br />BAI.ANCZ <br />1,030.77 <br />12,653.43 <br />31,818.11 <br />58,461.66 <br />1,936.64 <br />2,207.78 <br />1,689.17 <br />6,657.60 <br />114.56 <br />446.59 <br />69,542.67 <br />Amounts to be turned over <br />to Indian River County. <br />(43.4%) <br />$ 447.35 <br />-.. 5,491.58 <br />13,809.05 <br />25,572.36 <br />840.50 <br />958.18 <br />733.09 <br />6,657.60 <br />49.71 <br />193.82 <br />30 094.71 <br />=84;647.95 <br />said Board of County Commissioners of St Lucie County, Florida, hereby <br />to pay over the above stated amounts out of said funds, to said Board of County Com- <br />missioners of Indian River County. Florida, and maid last mentioned Board hereby agrees <br />to that the payment of said amounts shall be full satisfaction of all claims by the Boa/d <br />of County Commissioners of Indian River County for any coney out of the above named <br />funds of St Lucie County. <br />IT I8 HURTHIS MUTUALLY Awwau that the Board of County Commissioners of St Lucie <br />County, Florida, will pay over to the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, 43.4 per cent of all moneys received after July bp. 1925 by the first named <br />Board deriesd from redemption of Tax Sale Certificates, which have been redeemed prior <br />inns 30, 1925.
