<br />It is further mutually agreed tat whereas the County Tax Assessor of St Lucie
<br />County, Florida, is charged with the duty of preparing and completing the County tax
<br />assessment roll for the year 1925, covering all taxable property in both St Lucie and
<br />Indian River County, and the law creating Indian River County provides that the County
<br />Tax Assessor for Indian River County shall receive no compensation for the work of
<br />preparing said 1925 tax levy, but that full compensation shall be paid to the County
<br />Tax Assessor of St Lucie County for said duty. Therefore the Board of County Commission-
<br />ers of Indian River County hereby agree to assume and pay 43.4 per cent of the compensation
<br />allowed to the County Tax Assessor of St Lucie County, Florida, for his duties in the
<br />preparation and completion of said 1925 tax roll covering both Counties.
<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County agrees to pay to each of
<br />the cities of Fort Pierce, Vero and Fellsmere 43.4 per cent of the 50 per cent of General
<br />Road Taxes for the year 1924 collected on property within the boundaries of said cities,
<br />the remainder of aid amounts due said cities to be paid by St Lucie and ilsryin Counties
<br />IN WITHBSS WiOF, the said Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County,'
<br />and the said Board of County Commissioners of St Lucie County have hereunto caused thei
<br />a
<br />respective names and seals to be hereunto affixed by their respective Chairmen, atteste
<br />by their respective Clerks. This agreement being executed in duplicate on the d;y and
<br />year first above written.
