This to be upon the approval of the City Counb*l of the City of Vero. <br />Commissioner Braddock offered the following resolution, seconded by Commissioner <br />LaBruce . <br />Be it resolved taat the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County do <br />rent and lease the entire second floor of the Seminole Building in the City of Vero <br />Beach for the use of its County officials and for the holding of Court and for saoh <br />other uses and purposes as the Board may determine for the period of one year from <br />July 1st 1925 at a monthly rent of +$400 00 per month. <br />Be it further resolved that the Chairman of this Board be and he is hereby <br />authorized and empowered to execute on behalf of the Board with the owner of said <br />Seminole Building a proper lease covering said above described premises, for the time <br />and upon the terms as this resolution sets forth, said lease to be prepared and <br />approved by the attorney for this Board. <br />Whereupon the resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />Deputy Sheriff bond of A. Y. Hill in the sum of $1,000.00 with William Atkin <br />and E J Wood as sureties was approved. <br />Deputy Sheriff bond of Donn A Keifer in the sum of .1000.00 with Fred E King and <br />Walter Duncan waa approved. <br />'The Notary Public bond of Luster M. 2Serriman in the sum of $500 00 with American <br />Surety Co:, of New York was approved. <br />It was ordered that Dan:-. Leisher be appointed and employed as County RIgineer <br />at a monthly salary of ,x$400.00. It being understood that the firm of Carter & Damerow <br />to act as engineers in an advisory capacity, to furnish office, engineering records <br />and consulting services on all technical work, and the County will furnish transportation <br />facilities. <br />In compliance with Section 3367no! the Revised General Statutes the County Com- <br />missioners proceeded to lay out. designate and establish the following as Sustise of <br />the Pease Districts of the County, to-wit:- <br />iUSTICB 07 TB3 PEACE DISTRICT #1. <br />Beginning at the South-west corner of Section 18 Township 31 South.
