January 9, 2002 <br />MEMORANDUM <br />To: Board of County Commissioners <br />From: Paul G. Bangel, County Attorney `i kli <br />Re: County Attorney Moving Expenses <br />Recommendation: <br />It is respectfully requested that the Board of County Commissioners authorize <br />payment to the county attorney of moving and travel expenses in the amount of $946 33. <br />Discussion: <br />The county attorney's employment contract provides, in part: <br />Moving expenses, which shall include those associated with <br />moving from ATTORNEY's residence, storage, moving <br />expenses from temporary housing, mileage, and lodging <br />expenses incurred in connection with visits to Indian River <br />County, not to exceed $2,000.00 shall be provided by County. <br />My request of $946.33 includes travel and lodging expenses incurred up to July 10, 2000, <br />when I became the county attorney, and subsequent moving expenses. Copies of receipts <br />are available for review in my office.
