The <br />location of the bodies would depend on wind and tide. He felt the assumption that these <br />deaths were attributable to local boaters was a fallacy. <br />It was determined that no one else wished to be heard and the Chairman closed the <br />public hearing. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Adams, to approve staffs recommendation. <br />Under discussion, Charman Stanbridge thought some criteria concerning the 4 -foot <br />water depth was needed and she also wanted the results under Method 4 to be continuously <br />monitored so we don't have to wait 100 years if a revision is required. <br />After a clarification on the measuring of the 4 -foot water depth, Commissioner Macht <br />recalled and supported Mayor Barnes' comment about Sebastian's businesses which help <br />support their largely residential tax base. <br />January 15, 2002 <br />
