Frame, General Services Director .�GCdf c�4, IJ <br />License Agreement for Placement of Vending Machines at the Indian River <br />County Public Shooting Range <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The attached license agreement is for the location of vending machines at the shooting range. <br />The propose agreement would be with Vendor Service Specialists, Inc., which currently <br />maintains an agreement with Indian River County to provide vending services at the Courthouse. <br />Vendor Service Specialists, Inc. were approached based on their exemplary service at the <br />Courthouse <br />Based on the good working relations we have with Vendor Service Specialists, Inc. staff requests <br />that they be the vendor to provide services at the shooting range. The agreement would provide <br />that the vendor would compensate the County in the amount of 20 % of gross sales after <br />deducting sales tax. The payment would be made on or before the tenth day of each month. <br />This agreement also provides for approval by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation <br />Commission. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board approve the proposed agreement between Vendor Service <br />Specialists, Inc., and authorize the staff to forward a County and vendor executed agreement to <br />the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for their approval and execution. <br />January 15, 2002 <br />57 <br />177 <br />• <br />
