CHASTAIN <br />MANAGER OF A <br />DEPARTMENT <br />cfy <br />NT PROJECTS <br />TILITY SERVICES <br />TEMPORARY WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />LNDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND DAVID MCCARTHY AND <br />CAROL MCCARTHY <br />BACKGROUND <br />David McCarthy.and Carol McCarthy have requested that a temporary service be installed from <br />an extension of a water line on 95th Street to service their home at 5285 94th Lane, Sebastian, <br />Florida. prior to the installation of a water system in Durrance Development. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The Agreement states that the Indian River County Department of Utility Services shall provide <br />temporary water service to Mr. And Mrs. McCarthy, until such time that a water line may be <br />constructed in Durrance Development, by assessment. They agree to pay all fees required to <br />make this connection. They further agree to participate in the assessment, and to reconnect to this <br />water line as required by the Indian River County Department of Utility Services. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br />approve the attached Agreement with Mr. And Mrs McCarthy on the Consent Agenda <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously <br />approved the Agreement, as recommended by staff. <br />JANUARY 22, 2002 <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />_19_ <br />CI{ <br />4» <br />..,, <br />c1 2 <br />i✓ <br />
