• <br />Carol Johnson, Program Consultant for Character Counts' Coalition, asked the Board <br />for their support of a program called "Communities of Character" and expressed her appreciation <br />at being added to a very busy agenda. <br />Ms. Johnson stated that it was her privilege to be a part of the committee recommending <br />the first awardees in the County. She noted that the Board's Executive Aide, Kim Massung, was <br />one of the first honorees receiving a plaque, a pin, flowers and a nice cash award. A plaque is <br />also being presented to the Board in recognition of their employee of good character. <br />Ms. Johnson expects bumper stickers to be available in January, 2003 and asked that <br />consideration be given to placing them on County vehicles. She asked the Board to support in <br />any visible way possible the recognition of this important program. <br />CONSENSUS was reached to have Ms. Johnson meet with the County Administrator and <br />the Human Resources Director regarding this program. <br />6.
