BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, does herewith tentatively adopt the annual budget for the funds of said Board for the <br />fiscal year ending September 30, 1953, in the form as heretofore prepared and duly advertised; <br />and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said tentative budget shall be filed in the office <br />of the County Auditor as a public record and the County Officer shall transmit two copies of the <br />:tentative budget as adopted to the Comptroller of the State of Florida and said budget as tenta <br />tively adopted shall be considered as finally adopted and as official upon approval as to form <br />by the Comptroller. <br />Upon being duly seconded by Commissioner Waddell, the same was unanimously adoptod. <br />Commissioner Warren introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption <br />,as follows, to -wit: <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Flor�da, <br />that the rate of taxation necessary to meet the expenditures of the Board of County Commissione,s <br />i <br />of Indian River County, Florida, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1953, pursuant to'the <br />budget of said Board as heretofore published and approved, is as hereinafter levied and that th <br />tax rate as hereinafter shown and set forth be and it is hereby levied on all taxable property <br />Indian River County, Florida, for the year 1952 with the rate hereinafter set out, to -wit: <br />1. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the General Fund, it is determine <br />and hereby declared that a tax rate of Six (6) mills upon the dollar be levied and is hereby <br />posed. <br />2. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the Road and Bridge Fund, it is <br />determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of One (1) mill upon the dollar be levied and is <br />hereby imposed. <br />3. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the Fine and Forfeiture Fund, it <br />is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Seven -tenths (.7) mill upon the dollar be <br />levied and is hereby imposed. <br />4.. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the Capital Outlay Reserve Fund, <br />it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of One (1) mill upon the dollar be levied <br />is hereby imposed. <br />5. In order to provide funds to the Indian River County Public Health Unit, it <br />determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of One-half (1/2) mill upon the dollar be levied <br />assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property lying and being in the County of Indian Ri <br />the proceeds of which when collected shall be paid to the State Treasurer of the State of Flori <br />for the account of the State Board of Health of the State of Florida to be expended by said Sta <br />Board of Health as provided by Chapter 154., Florida Statutes. <br />Upon being duly seconded by Commissioner Waddell, the same was unanimously adopte <br />Commissioner Watts introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption as <br />r <br />follows, to -wit: <br />WHEREAS, all acts having been performed and all proceedings has as required by <br />law preliminary to the levy of taxes in Indian River County, Florida, for the year 1952; and, <br />WHEREAS, the respective Boards and taxing districts being authorized to fix and <br />levy taxes upon property situated within Indian River County, Florida, as provided by law, fixes <br />such tax levies and have certified the same to the Board of County Commissioners and this Board <br />having accepted the same and having found them to be proper; Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />I <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
