Johnston- Carlson thought the Commissioners need to let the people know that this <br /> was not the Board ' s decision but a directive from the State and that it will affect their <br /> property taxes . <br /> Chairman Ginn thanked Ms . Johnston - Carlson for the information and the warning . <br /> The Commissioners will do what they can do . <br /> Commissioner Adams commented that the Commissioners needed to have close <br /> contacts with their representatives . If ad valorem taxes are not affected , then it will certainly <br /> affect services .
