ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY Vice <br />Chairman Tippin, the Board unanimously (4-0 (Commissioner <br />Macht absent) approved the agreement with Treasure Coast <br />Sports Commission, Inc. as the County's representative for <br />organizing and scheduling sporting events at Dodgertown, as <br />recommended in the memorandum. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />11.G.1. HABITAT CONSERVATION PLAN FOR SEA TURTLES <br />ECOLOGICAL ASSOCIATES, INC. - AMENDMENT NO. 1 (3 -YEAR <br />EXTENSION OF CONTRACT) <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of October 24, 2002: <br />TO: James Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />THROUGH: James W. Davis, P.E <br />Public Works Direct <br />FROM: Jonathan C. Gorham, Ph.s.�(� <br />Coastal Resources Manager <br />SUBJECT: Ecological Associates Inc. <br />Contract Amendment No.1 <br />DATE: October 24, 2002 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Ecological Associates, Inc. (EAI) serves as the County's consultant <br />for the development of a Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) for sea <br />turtles. The Agreement between the County and EAI was executed on <br />12 October 1999, and specified acontract period of three years. <br />The HCP and the accompanying Incidental Take Permit application <br />have been submitted to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, but some <br />additional tasks remain in the original Agreement related to <br />finalizing the HCP. This Amendment No.. 1 would extend the contract <br />period for an additional three years. <br />Also included in Amendment No. 1 is a scope of work and cost <br />proposal for implementing the conservation program specified in the <br />November 5, 2002 <br />91 <br />it 8 <br />
