Gorham, Ph.D. <br />Coastal Resources Manager <br />SUBJECT: Dial Cordy and Associates, Inc. <br />Contract Amendment No.3 <br />DATE: October 25, 2002 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Dial Cordy and Associates, Inc. is currently under contract with <br />the county for the preparation of an Environmental Assessment, <br />required for Federal permitting under the National Environmental <br />Policy Act, for the Sectors 1&2 beach renourishment project. This <br />Contract Amendment, in the amount of $.221,000, covers biological <br />monitoring of nearshore reef environments required by the state and <br />Federal Permits for the Sectors 1&2 projects. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends the approval of Contract Amendment No. 3 to the <br />contract with Dial Cordy and Associates, Inc. Funding is from <br />the Beach Preservation Fund 128-144-572.
