He agreed that Mr. Clontz and Mr. Beutell need same relief <br />and that Mr. O'Haire had come up with a solution for Mr. Clontz, but the problem for the <br />other landowners will not go away. <br />Chairman Adams recommended the Board move forward since the issue before them, <br />Alternative 1, had been pending for about six months. <br />Vice Chairman Ginn favored Alternative 2 and wanted the Board to send it to the PZC <br />for their opinion. <br />Director Keating pointed out that no time would be lost if either Alternati� es 1 or 2 <br />were sent to the PZC. <br />Chairman Adams reiterated that she thought Alternative 1 should be sent for. a Comp <br />Plan amendment. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Tippin, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Stanbridge, to send Alternative 1 to the DCA <br />as a Comprehensive Plan amendment. <br />In making the motion, Commissioner Tippin concurred with Chairman Adams' <br />reasoning. <br />In seconding, Commissioner Stanbridge agreed that the Board has been moving the <br />issue forward. She was not so sure Mr. O'Haire's proposal would get DCA appro�✓al since <br />it was site specific. <br />Mr. O'Haire indicated from the audience his willingness to take that chana�. <br />Commissioner Macht cautioned that if approved by DCA, the Board has begun the <br />domino effect and it is grist for the attorney's mills.
