BID #5024BEACH RESTORATION - SECTORS 1 AND 2 <br />CONTRACT AWARDED TO GREAT LAKES DREDGE AND DOCK <br />CO. <br />(Clerk's note: Related items 9.B1. and 9.B.2.) <br />Coastal Resources Manager Jonathan Gorham presented staff's recommendation <br />advising there was no intent to exclude any supplier from this bid. He reviewed his <br />memorandum of December 9, 2002 and advised how the decision was reached to bid the <br />project and the consequences of a delay in order to rebid. He also responded to questions <br />of Acting Vice Chairman Ginn and Commissioner Neuberger. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Ginn, SF CONDED <br />by Commissioner Adams, to approve staff's recommendation. <br />December 17, 2002 <br />
