11.H.2. FORCE MAIN ABANDONMENT AND CANAL BANK <br />RESTORATION ALONG THE LATERAL `J' CANAL - PROGRESSIVE <br />PIPELINE, INC. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Neuberger, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Lowther, the Board unanimously waived the <br />standard bid formality; approved the proposed agreement for <br />$37.00 per cubic yard for canal restoration; and authorized the <br />Purchasing Office to issue a Purchase Order to Progressive <br />Pipeline, Inc., as a sole source vendor, at the unit price of $37 <br />per cubic yard for a total of $37,000, as recommended in the <br />memorandum. <br />AGREEMENT WILL BE ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />WHEN EXECUTED AND RECEIVED <br />14.A. EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT <br />The Chairman announced that immediately upon adjournment, the Board would <br />reconvene as the Board of Commissioners of the Emergency Services District. Those <br />Minutes are being prepared separately. <br />14.B. SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br />The Chairman announced that immediately upon adjournment of the Emergency <br />Services District meeting, the Board would reconvene as the Board of Commissioners of the <br />Solid Waste Disposal District.
