Presented herewith for consideration are the following documents: <br />• Resolution canceling any delinquent or current taxes which may exist on the <br />property. The taxes would be canceled from March 6, 2001 (the date the <br />County took title to the property) until the property is transferred. Once <br />transferred, the property would be placed back on the tax roll. <br />• Resolution authorizing the sale of Lot 18, Block 2, Dixie Gardens Unit 4 is "as <br />is condition" to Indian River Homeless Services Council, Inc. for a nominal <br />price of $1. <br />• County Deed conveying Lot 18, Block 2, Dixie Gardens Unit 4 in as is <br />condition" to Indian River Homeless Services Council, Inc. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Adopt both Resolutions and authorize the Chairman of the Board of County <br />Commissioners to execute both Resolutions and the County Deed, and instruct <br />the Clerk to send a certified copy of the Resolution canceling taxes to the Tax <br />Collector so that any delinquent or current taxes can be canceled. <br />/nhm <br />Attachments: 2 Resolutions and County Deed <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Tippin, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Adams, the Board <br />unanimously approved the County Deed, authorized <br />the Chairman to execute the documentation, <br />instructed the Clerk to send a certified copy of the <br />resolution canceling taxes to the Tax Collector so <br />that any delinquent or current taxes can be canceled, <br />and adopted Resolution 2001-123 canceling certain <br />taxes upon publicly owned lands, pursuant to <br />Section 196.28, Florida Statutes (HUD $1 Home - <br />Lot 18, Block 2, Dixie Gardens Unit 4). <br />DECEMBER 18, 2001 <br />-20- <br />N$ B.. ..' i `1 0 L 4 <br />
